The ambassador status originally started with one tier, Posh Ambassador I. However, Poshmark has expanded the program to include another tier- Posh Ambassador II. So what does it mean to be a Poshmark Ambassador? How do I achieve it? What perks do I get?

Poshmark Ambassador I
Requirements
To qualify for Poshmark Ambassador I status, you must complete all the following:
1. 5,000 Community Shares
This means sharing items from other users closets. Be careful not to do 5,000 all in one day though, that may land you in Poshmark jail.
2. 50 New Poshmark User Shares
Of the 5,000 community shares, 50 need to be items from new Poshmark users closets.
3. 5,000 Self Shares
This is where you share your own items. This is the most important factor not only for Posh Ambassador I status but also for your business. Sharing items often helps play into the Poshmark algorithm.
4. 50 Available Listings
This includes only the listings that are available for purchase, not past sold items still showing up in your closet.
5. 15 Sold Listings
Go ahead, make some sales! If you are struggling with this factor, you may need to refine your pricing strategy or picture taking process. You may also be missing sales if you haven't perfected your strategy within the Poshmark algorithm.
6. > 4.5 Average Seller Rating
When you do make sales, ensure you provide a 5 star service. Bad ratings happen, but attempt to do everything within your control to provide excellent service.
7. < 3 Days Average Shipping Time
Once you make a sale, ship the item within a timely manner. You technically have up to 5 business days, but as you can tell, Poshmark rewards users that ship quicker than that.
8. 1 Love Note Given
This means you will have to purchase an item from Poshmark. Once you do, leave your rating along with a love note to let the seller know they did a good job.
Perks Of Posh Ambassador I
Daily Auto Follows
One of the perks of being a Poshmark ambassador is daily auto follows. This means Poshmark will automate you gaining more followers to your closet. This may increase exposure, and thus increase sales.
Additionally, this may give potential customers a sense of trust when browsing your closet and seeing how many followers you have.
Featured To New Users
As a Poshmark ambassador, your closet will pop up for new Poshmark users as a feature. This is likely because Poshmark wants to show off their top sellers to new users so they can see the possibilities of selling on the app.
Access To Poshmark Insider
Another perk is receiving the Posh Insider newsletter each month. These emails contain exclusive information for Poshmark sellers including updates, community spotlights, and most importantly trends.
Each newsletter includes items/categories that are “trending now”. For example, a recent Posh insider stated that women’s one shoulder dresses are up 21% compared to a month over month pattern.
This will help you with sourcing decisions and which items you should move to the top of your death pile to list next.
Access To Poshmark Affiliate Campaigns
If you are also a social media influencer, you can take advantage of the rewards that come with being a Poshmark affiliate. As an affiliate, you can get paid for posts to your account.
To qualify, you must be a Poshmark ambassador and also have 5,000 followers on a social media site.
Co-host in-app Poshmark Parties
I’m sure you’ve received the notifications from Poshmark periodically that announce upcoming Posh Parties. Personally, as a Posh ambassador, I have not used this perk.
That is because I do not give much weight to the Poshmark parties as they typically are not a huge contributor to sales.
Bulk Upload
Once you become a Poshmark ambassador, you can save time listing your items by using the bulk upload tool.
To use the Poshmark bulk upload tool, you must be using Poshmark from the web browser. Once you’re on the site, click sell on Poshmark. Then, click bulk upload.
You will then have to create a listing template on an excel document prior to uploading. This process will help save time when compared to filling out each listing form separately.
Also, it is empowering to know that you are fully in control of your listing information as it is all on an excel file just in case anything would happen.
Posh Ambassador Badge
Of all of the perks of being a Poshmark ambassador, the badge you receive is the most important and beneficial. This shows Poshmark users that you have an elevated status on the platform, and in turn, this may increase the sense of trust.
This will show up as a white star within a red circle next to your name when viewers come to your closet.
Poshmark Ambassador II
Entry Requirements
The requirements for achieving Poshmark Ambassador II status are similar to Poshmark Ambassador I, however the Poshmark Ambassador II program is structured differently.
To become a Posh Ambassador II, there are certain entry requirements. Once you meet those requirements, there are ongoing yearly requirements you have to meet, too.
Essentially you cannot attain the Posh Ambassador II status and keep it forever. You have to continually put time and energy into your business to keep your gold star, otherwise you will be downgraded to Poshmark Ambassador I.
So first, let’s start with the entry requirements. These include:
1. 6 Months As A Poshmark Ambassador I
With this requirement, the good news is it takes no effort on your part. You will simply have to wait out the time. However, the next 6 requirements will keep you busy in the meantime.
2. 20,000 Community Shares
The amount of shares increases from 5,000 to 20,000 when trying to attain Posh Ambassador II status. If this seems like a lot, you will benefit from the services at PosherVA- it does all of the sharing for you!
3. 50 Sold Listings
The amount of listings that you need to sell bumps up from 15 to 50. If you are struggling making sales, you may want to learn more about why your items are not selling on Poshmark.
4. 100 Available Listings
You now have to have 100 available listings compared to the 50 that were required for Poshmark Ambassador I.
5. > 4.7 Star Rating
The rating requirement needed also increases from 4.5 to 4.7. Continue to provide excellent customer service to your buyers.
6. < 3 Days To Ship
Shipping time also remains the same, so make sure you ship your orders out it a timely manner.
7. 1 New Posher Recruited
This is a new milestone to complete, unique to Posh Ambassador II. Refer a friend or family member to join in on the online selling fun with you!
Ongoing Requirements
Next, we’ll go into the yearly requirements. Each year, to keep your Posh Ambassador II status, you need to meet 4 out of the following 5 requirements.
- 5,000 community shares
- 50 sold listings
- > 4.7 star rating
- > 3 days to ship
- 365 listings created
Perks Of Poshmark Ambassador II
The perks of Posh ambassador II status includes all of the perks from being a Posh Ambassador I, plus the following:
Poshmark Ambassador II Badge
The badge you received when you accomplished Posh Ambassador I status will now be upgraded to a white star within a gold circle. Again, this will be placed on your profile next to your name so all users can see your status.
Free Or Discounted Event Tickets
Throughout the year, Poshmark hosts many different events. Most notably, Poshmark hosts PoshFest. This is where Poshmark sellers come together to learn from the Poshmark team themselves along with other users with talks on different topics to help leverage your business.
In the past, these events share information about aspects of reselling such as algorithm changes, shipping practices, listing practices, and more. As a Poshmark Ambassador, you will receive a discounted rate for these in person events.
Priority Support
As a seller on Poshmark, things can and will go wrong from time to time. However, as a Posh Ambassador II, your inquiry will be moved to the front of the line with priority support.
You may reach out to the Poshmark team regarding a Poshmark case being opened, a purchase issue, a technical glitch, payment processing error, or whatever other problem may arise.
