Sharing your listings on Poshmark is essential to making sales. Sharing your Poshmark closet bumps up your items in the Poshmark algorithm when potential buyers search.
Luckily, gone are the days when sellers had to manually share the items in their closets one by one. By using either the bulk listing actions within Poshmark or with the use of a browser extension, you can share your entire Poshmark closet with ease.
In this blog post, we’ll go over how to share your entire Poshmark closet, sharing limits to avoid Poshmark share jail, the importance of sharing to Posh Parties and social media, along with other expert tips you won’t want to miss!

Share Your Entire Closet: Bulk Listing Actions
After many years, Poshmark has finally released a bulk sharing tool within the platform.
How To Bulk Share:
- Open the Poshmark app.
- Open the seller tools menu by tapping on your username / the person icon in the bottom right corner.
- Tap My Closet.
- Tap the icon in the top-right corner - the tool icon on top of a ruler.
- Under Bulk Listing Actions, tap Share to Followers.
- Scroll all the way down to the end of your available listings.
- Scroll back up and tap Select All in the top left corner.
- Tap Share to Followers at the bottom of the screen.
This action will share all of the active listings in your closet. If you do not scroll all the way down in step 6, Poshmark will only share some of your listings.
This is a common mistake for bulk sharing. That is because not all of your items will be loaded until you scroll past them.
To double-check that you have all items selected, look at the top middle of the screen where it will say how many items are selected.
Alternatively, you can use this method to share only selected listings, not your entire closet. Just tap each item you want to share to the news feed.
You can also set specific filters on the items that you want to share, including only sharing women's items, only sharing dresses, and only sharing a certain brand, plus other variations.
Share Your Entire Closet: Poshmark Bots
Poshmark bots are a controversial topic. Technically, it is against Poshmark’s terms and conditions to use a bot to assist your Poshmark Closet.
However, it is widely known in the reseller community that many sellers use bots to help automate and thus increase Poshmark sales with less work.
This especially applies to the top-earning Poshmark sellers who are working on their closet as a full-time gig. The use of bots can be one of the best ways to help you grow your Poshmark business.
One of the most popular Poshmark bots is PosherVA. It is a browser extension that can automate many tasks including sending offers, bulk price updating, delisting and relisting items, and of course, sharing. As a reseller, it saves you so much time.
One of the major perks of PosherVA is scheduled sharing. You can set time increments that you want the browser extension to share your closet, even when you are away from your computer.
Essentially you can share your closet around the clock. This will ensure your items are fresh and readily viewable by future customers. After all, the best time to share your listings is all the time!
PosherVA offers a no-risk, no credit card required free trial of its service. Try it for yourself and I know you will see it is one of the best tools to increase sales.
If you end up signing up for the paid version, I get a couple of dollars for each month that you are a member.
However, I promote PosherVA because it has radically changed my reselling business and income. I know it can with yours, too! Feel free to read more about why you need PosherVA.
Share One Item
You can also share one singular item in your closet instead of Poshmark sharing your entire closet. This may be useful if you are trying to arrange your closet with your best or prettiest items at the top.
Not that it technically matters, but putting your best items first may establish a sense of professionalism and trust with potential customers when they visit your closet.
To share one item, follow these steps:
- Open the Poshmark app.
- Tap on your username / the person icon in the bottom right corner.
- Tap My Closet.
- Find the item you want to share. Use the magnifying glass symbol to search if needed.
- Once you're on the item block, tap the two arrows in the bottom right-hand corner.
- In the top right, tap Share. This item will be shared with all of Poshmark and the item will be updated in your closet to appear first.
Share To Posh Party
Poshmark hosts online events daily, known as Posh Parties. Each Posh Party has a theme with item requirements.
For example, sometimes Poshmark has parties for certain brands. This may be an athleticwear party with brands including Nike, Lululemon, Adidas, and Under Armour.
Other times, it could be a party for a certain style or clothing category. There may be a “best in dresses dresses” party where you can share all of the dresses in your closet.
In order to share to the party feeds, you follow the same sequence as you would share one specific item:
To share to a Posh Party, follow these steps:
- Open the Poshmark app.
- Tap on your username / the person icon in the bottom right corner.
- Tap My Closet.
- Find the item you want to share. Use the magnifying glass symbol to search if needed.
- On the item block, tap the two arrows in the bottom right-hand corner.
- In the top right, tap Share. This time, tap the Share that is located next to the Posh Party title and symbol (a champagne glass and shopping bag).
If your item qualifies, Poshmark will share it to the party. If it does not, Poshmark will notify you and tell you why.
I do not recommend spending a lot of time manually sharing items to Posh Parties, simply because it rarely equates to sales. If you have PosherVA, you can opt into sharing your items with Posh Parties as it applies.
Share To Friends
Another way to share an item is to share it directly to another person via Facebook Messenger, SMS, Email, or copying the link to post/send with another avenue.
This may be a friend or family member that is looking for a specific item or a new listing that you have, but they live across the country. You can also share one listing in order for that person to navigate to your entire closet from that listing.
Share To Social Media Platforms
In addition to sharing with the Poshmark community, Posh Parties, and directly to friends, you can also share your Poshmark listings on different social media accounts. Poshmark currently offers the ability to share on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, and Tumblr.
You can share your closet items to either your personal or business social media account. First, you will need to log in and connect your preferred social account or accounts to Poshmark.
This can be another great way to get more eyes on your item, thus increasing the chance for new buyers.
Community Shares
In addition to sharing your own closet (also known as a self share), you can also share listings from other Poshmark users' closets. It is generally well understood that community shares do not have a direct effect on your sales.
However, performing community shares is one qualification you will have to meet if you are wanting to become a Poshmark Ambassador. At the very least, having more followers, shares, and reaching Poshmark Ambassador status may increase the sense of trust with potential buyers.
Just as with self-shares, I would not spend time manually sharing items one by one. With PosherVA, you can automate both self-shares and community shares with one click of a button.
If you had to choose, definitely prioritize sharing your own listings versus community shares.
Poshmark Sharing Limits
When we're talking about sharing, it is important to talk about limits to sharing activity. Poshmark only allows you a certain number of times that you can share items daily.
Unfortunately, that number is not known and even varies day to day. That means there is no hard and fast rule regarding when the limit will be reached.
If you end up crossing the sharing threshold, you will be placed in what the reselling community calls Poshmark share jail.
If you end up in share jail, you won't be able to interact on the app at all for 24 hours. The good news is that it is temporary, and it is believed there is no long-term effect on your account.
To be safe, it is recommended that you do not share more than 5,000 times a day. This includes self shares and community shares.
So, now you know the best tips and multiple options on how to share your entire Poshmark closet. Plus, you know how to share a singular listing to Posh Parties, to social media, or to a friend or family member specifically.
Continue to use these tools to grow your Poshmark presence. Happy sharing and happy Poshing!
