Shopping for clothing online can be an exciting but daunting task. After all, it’s difficult to find items that meet the trifecta criteria: stylish, cute, and affordable.
One online shopping destination is helping many across the country find their trifecta items, and it’s known as Lulus. It is a brand that is loved and worn by many.

Lulus, not to be confused with Lululemon, offers a wide variety of chic dresses, trendy tops, and stylish bottoms, along with shoes and other accessories. It is a popular online shopping destination for many.
Lulus is a great site to find a homecoming, prom, or even wedding dress. Plus, you can find other everyday trendy items.
Now that we’ve got our background, let’s get into finding a Lulus style number!
Care Instructions And Materials Tag
The first place to look for your Lulus style number is on the care tag. This is the tag that outlines the care instructions for the item along with telling you the material of the item.
Many other clothing brands have style numbers on their price tag, however, Lulus does not.
So on your Lulus item, look on an inside seam. Run your hand inside the garment until you feel the tag. It may be on the shell of the item or on the lining.
Look on the tag to find where it says “Style#” with a letter followed by multiple numbers and a letter. And just like that, you’ve found your style number!
With my example, the style number on my dress is “D15376S”. It was located on the inside lining of the dress.
Now that you’ve found your style number, type it into a Google search. Input “Lulus D15376S” into the search bar. With this, you’ll be able to find the style name.
Once you have the style name you will be able to successfully search the secondhand marketplace to find a Lulus item that you’re looking for. Alternatively, it may lead you to the Lulus website itself.
On the Lulus site, you may notice that the style number on the item listing may be different than what is on the care tag. This is something online resellers should be aware of.
In my experience, this happens frequently although I'm not quite sure why. If you’re trying to find a Lulus style number in order to find the style name and stock photos, be sure to pay attention to this.
It will be wise to include both style numbers in your listing to increase the chance of any exposure for your Lulus item.
Google Reverse Image Search
If you found your Lulus item secondhand at a place like the thrift store or Plato’s Closet, you may have an item that has the care tag removed. Alternatively, you may have removed the care tag yourself because that makes it more comfortable to wear.
If this is the case, you are still able to find your Lulus style number another way. With this method, you’ll need the Google app (for iPhone users) or the Google Lens app (Android users).
Take a picture of the item, go into the picture settings, and select “Search Image With Google.” Alternatively, you can pull up a Google search in a browser and snap a picture while on the Google Lens settings.
After this, Google will populate results that match yours. You may have to scroll through the results in order to find what you’re looking for.
This method typically works better for items that are a more unique style or pattern. However, it is worth trying for your item regardless because of how quick the process is.
Item Descriptors
If you’re not able to find your item on Google Lens, there’s still another way to find your item. With this method, you’ll need to describe your item in a Google search bar.
Pretend like you’re on the phone with your friend and describing the item to them. Give a really good picture and include all of the details that you can think of.
For my Lulus dress, I searched “Lulus halter cross neck dress coral” and I was able to find the item pretty quickly. Sometimes you may need to scroll or click around to find your item.
Other times, you may have to modify your search and add/remove descriptors until you find what you’re looking for.
How To Use A Lulus Style Number
As a buyer, there are a few ways to use a Lulus style number. First, you can find an oldie but a goodie of a piece that you’ve owned previously.
Alternatively, you can use Lulus free return policy to your advantage. If you're in the market for a certain item, order a couple of different sizes/styles from Lulus directly.
If you find an item that you like, use the Lulus style name and/or number to try and find the item on a secondhand marketplace. This way, you can return your full price purchase to Lulus, and support secondhand fashion!
