Express is a company that has curated a successful fashion-forward brand for both men and women. If you are an avid Express wearer, you may be wanting to know how to find an Express style number.
With an Express style number, you can find an Express item on a secondhand marketplace for purchase, or you can find out more information about the item, including stock photos.
So if you’re needing to find a style number for this brand, you’ve come to the right place! In this post, we will go over four different methods for finding your Express style number.
Using The Express Inner Tag
With our first method, we will be looking for the inside tag on an Express item. This is the tag that outlines the care instructions and lists the fabric content of the garment.
Typically these are found on either of the inside seams of the clothing item. Once you find this grouping of tags, flip to the one in the very back.
When looking for an Express style number, you will always be trying to locate an eight digit number. In the example below, the style number is located on the bottom line of the tag.
In its entirety, it reads “#007922317.” For some reason, Express sticks an extra zero in front of its style numbers. So in this example, the style number for this item is “07922317.”
Once you find this number, you can input it in a Google search. For example, search “Express 07922317” or “Express dress 07922317.”
You should start to see results that match your Express item. You may be led to the retailer’s website if it is a newer item, or you may see secondhand online marketplace listings for the item.
Use this information if you are wanting to purchase this item again, or if you are needing information about the item for your online reselling business listing.
Using The Express Price Tag
Next, we’ll go over how to find the Express style number of an item if the tags are still attached. In a similar manner, locate the price tag of the item.
Again, we will be looking for an eight-digit number. If you look above the barcode and to the left, you should see your style number.
It is an eight digit code underneath the letters “st” for style. As you can see, it matches the code that we retrieved by using the inside tag in our last method.
Once you’ve found this number, input it into Google with the brand name. Scroll around until you find the item that you are looking for.
However, not all items still have the price tag and/or the inside tag still attached. These next two methods do not require any tags.
If you’ve never used Google Lens before, you’re going to love this strategy for finding an Express style number. First, make sure you have the Google app or the Google Lens app downloaded.
Next, take a picture of your item. Be sure to include the entire garment. You can either lay it flat or hang it up.
Then take this picture and upload it to the Google or Google Lens app. Once you perform a search, you should start seeing visual results that match your Express item.
You may have to scroll through the results to find exactly what you are looking for. However, sometimes this method does not work. This applies mostly to plain items without unique embellishments and details.
So, in the next section, we will discuss yet another strategy for finding an Express style number.
With our last method, we will go back to an old fashioned Google search. The goal of this is to write an incredibly descriptive phrase that helps Google find your Express item for you.
Evaluate the item closely. List the brand name, type of item, color, pattern, style, and include any special embellishments or unique details about the item.
This may include the sleeve length, dress length, style of jeans, neckline, or any other unique details. Start out as descriptive as you can be.
You can always modify the phrase if the first search doesn’t pull up exactly what you’re looking for.
As you can see, all of these methods are so quick and easy. If one method doesn’t work, be sure to try another!
