Do you want to find the Columbia style number for your apparel item, but you’re not sure where to start? Well, you’ve come to the right place!
By finding your Columbia item number, you’ll be able to find an old but oh-so-loved Columbia item that you want to purchase again. Or, you can find out more information about your Columbia item.
Regardless, by finding a Columbia item number, you’ll be able to unlock more information about the item in question. In this post, we will go over multiple methods for finding your Columbia style number.
Columbia Style Number Structure
The first step in finding a Columbia style number involves knowing exactly what to look for. When looking for your Columbia item number, you’ll be looking for a 7-digit number.
The good news is that every Columbia item number will follow this exact sequence. You’ll always be looking for a 7-digit numerical code.
Now that we know what it looks like, let’s go over where to look for it.
Columbia Price Tag
The first place to look for a Columbia style number is on the original price tag. On the front, you will see the Columbia branding.
Flip to the back and you should see a barcode. Here, you will look for the number at the very top.
As in the example above, this number may be longer than the 7-digit number that we discussed earlier. If that is the case, you will just use the first 7 digits in the numerical code that you see.
In this example, the style number for this pair of Columbia pants is “1579861.” When I type in “Columbia 1579861” into Google, I am able to find out that this pair of pants is the Saturday Trail Stretch Pant.
If you have the original tags, you can also find that the style number may be printed directly on the tag, too. In the same example above, you can see the style name directly underneath the barcode.
However, most Coluombia items will not still have the original tags attached. If that is the case, we’ve got another option for you.
Columbia Inner Tag
The next place to look for your Columbia style number is on the inner care instructions tag. Again, we will be looking for a 7-digit numerical code.
Sometimes this gets tricky because there is a lot of information included on these inner tags. For most items, you’re going to want to look at the topmost tag.
There are different combinations of numbers and letters here. For the example below, the style number is located at the bottom right of all of the number codes at the top of the tag.
Again, this shows our style code for our pair of pants, which is, “1579861.” So again, you can use this style number to search on Google.
Or, you can also search with style numbers directly on Columbia’s website.
If your Columbia item is missing the tags, you’ll need a universal way to find your style number. You’ll find all of the answers and more in our post on how to find style numbers and stock photos for items that are any brand!
Best of luck with your Columbia style number search! Let us know how it goes in the comments below.
