Spyder is a popular active sports gear company. If you love this brand, you’re probably wanting to know how to find a Spyder style number.
The style number, also known as the Spyder model number, product code, or item number, can help you find out more information about your Spyder item.
In this post, we discuss different strategies for finding a Spyder model number for your clothing items.
Using The Spyder Tag
First, we will go over how to find the Spyder style number utilizing internal tags on the garment.
We will use an example of a Spyder jacket to help us find the Spyder style number. On your Spyder item, look at the inside seam.
Here, you will see a bundle of tags. Look for the bottom tag in the pile. In my example, you can see where it states “Spyder Style #: 186424.”
Luckily, Spyder makes it very clear where their style number is. When in doubt, always look for a 6-digit numerical code when trying to locate your Spyder model number.
So once you find it, go to the Google search bar. Input the brand name and then your style number. When I search for "Spyder 186424", I am able to find out that the style name of this jacket is the Spyder Endure Full Zip.
This information can then be used to find stock photos or browse listings on secondhand marketplaces to find the best deal.
Using Google Lens
However, sometimes tags are removed from clothing items. They could be too bulky, itchy, or get in the way. If that is the case, there are still two great options for finding your Spyder style number.
This method involves performing a Google reverse image search. You can either access the ability to do a reverse search from your picture settings, the Google app, or the Google Lens app.
So first, snap a picture of your item. Either navigate to your picture settings where it says “Search with Google Lens” or go to one of the Google apps directly.
In this example, I was able to find out that this Spyder jacket is the Outbound Half Zip jacket. By performing this search, I was able to find stock photos and see the item price on multiple different secondhand marketplaces.
Using Item Descriptors
Now it’s time for our last method for finding a Spyder model number. Here, you will write a descriptive phrase to find your style number.
With this method, describe the item details in a Google search bar. Include the brand name, type of item, color, pattern, fabric, style, and any other pertinent features. Once you search, you may have to scroll around through the results to find what you’re looking for.
If you find an item that looks similar but is a different color, consider clicking on the item to see what new, more specific results are yielded.
Between these three methods, you should be able to find your Spyder model number in no time! Comment below to tell us the method that was most successful for you.
