If you’ve stumbled across this post I’m sure you’re looking for a way to find a Fashion Nova style number. Well, luckily you’ve come to the right place!
Fashion Nova is a trendy clothing brand that has grown in popularity since its beginnings in 2006. Although I do not support their fast fashion practices, I can’t help but notice a lot of Fashion Nova items in the thrift store.
As someone who runs an online reselling business, I love to rescue perfectly good items and resell them to others who are looking for my items. A part of this process involves putting style numbers in my listings for others searching for clothing online.
Because of that, I’ve learned how to find style numbers for numerous brands, and I’m excited to share my strategies for this brand with you today. In this post, we will go over not just one, but four different strategies to help you find your Fashion Nova item. So let’s get started!
Fashion Nova Tag
The first place to look for the Fashion Nova style number is on the tag itself. This will only work if the brand tag/price tag is still attached.
However, if your item doesn’t have the tag attached, skip to the next sections where we go over other strategies that do not require the price tag.
If you are fortunate enough to still have the price tag, finding the style number is a breeze. If you look on the price tag, you will also see the style name.
In the example below, my item is the “So Smooth Satin Mini Dress.” You can use this information in a Google search in order to find your exact item.
Below the style name you will see the Fashion Nova style number. The style number of this dress is “DI2944.”

Using the style number, input “Fashion Nova DI2944” into a Google search. It may lead you to the retailer’s website, or it may lead you to listings on secondhand marketplaces.
Next, we’ll go over how to find this same style number even without the Fashion Nova tag.
Inside Tag
The next place to look for the style number is on the inside of the garment. Specifically, it will be located on the care instructions tag. This tag also outlines the materials that were used to create this garment.
This tag will be sewn into an inside seam, so either turn the item inside out or run your hand inside the item to find the tag. Once you find the tag, you will see a few pieces of information.
On the front of the tag, you should see the size of the garment on top. Underneath the size, you will see your Fashion Nova style number. As you can see in this example, it is the same as the brand tag, reading “DI2944.”
On the inside tag, you will see the style number reads “S/#DI2944.” You can use either combination of letters/numbers/symbols to input into a Google search. If no results show with one, try using the other format to see if you get different results.

Google Lens
The next method of finding a Fashion Nova style number involves your smartphone camera. This time, you’ll take a picture of your item and perform a reverse image search.
You can do this straight from the picture in your gallery, use the Google Lens app, or the Google app itself.
Once you search with Google Lens, you should see visual results being populated for your item. Sometimes this is the best and easiest way to find a style number.
However, this method has drawbacks because it does not work well for plain items. If this method does not work for your item, there is still one more trick up our sleeves.
Keyword Descriptors
Lastly, you can use specific keyword descriptors to find your item. Let’s start with our black dress example.
I would go to Google and search, for example, “Fashion Nova black mini dress scoop neck spaghetti strap.” From here, see what results are yielded by Google.
You may have to do some scrolling and searching around the results page to see if you can find the exact item that you are looking for.
Unfortunately, none of these methods are a guarantee to find your Fashion Nova style number. However, with each of them taking no longer than 60 seconds, it may be worth your time to give some of these strategies a try.
