Coach Purse Style Number: Creed Patch
First, let’s start with Coach’s most classic items: their purses and handbags. All coach purses have a signature patch sewn in on the inside. This is known as the creed patch.
It is a small to medium-sized leather patch on the inside of a purse. It will contain a disclaimer starting with “This is a Coach bag.”
Underneath the disclaimer, you will see a combination of letters and numbers. This is your Coach style number!
Once you’ve found this number, you can input it into a Google search to see what results are yielded. For example, input “Coach G3625” to see what shows up, either on Coach’s website or on a secondhand marketplace.
Coach Clothing, Wallets, and Shoes Style Number: Inner Tag
When it comes to other Coach items, like a dress, wallet, or pair of tennis shoes, there is a different method for finding the Coach style number.
All of these items will have an inner tag. When it comes to Coach footwear, it will likely be printed directly on the inside material of the shoe.
For clothing items, it will likely be located on an inside seam. With wallets, you can expect the tag to be tucked in on an inside seam.
These places, for their respective items, are where you will look for the Coach style number. Luckily, as we already learned, we will be looking for a five-character combination of letters and numbers.
It is important to note that not all Coach items will still have the inner tags intact. If this is the case for your item, be sure to read our guide on finding a style number and stock photos for any item. In that post, we teach universal tips for finding items within any brand, no tags required!
